Resources Used In School
In school, we follow the Sounds-Write phonics scheme. In EYFS, children learn initial sounds and will learn how to segment and blend words using these. Children will learn how to spell simple words using these sounds, before building on this knowledge in KS1.
Sounds-Write have a range of resources for parents (including a free course, an app and a podcast).

Here are how the phonemes are pronounced.
To support children's handwriting, children are taught the formation of letters (and capital letters) and then learn how to join. We use the Nelson Handwriting scheme and resources for parents can be found here.
For Maths, we follow the White Rose guidance. This breaks learning down into small steps and builds learning over time. They have a great app which is suitable for all ages and further information can be found here.
To support the teaching and learning of multiplication tables, we use TT Rockstars. This is a great resource that children can access both inside and outside of school. Children will be sent home with their details and they are encouraged to play whenever they get the chance!
