We are seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and flexible Site Agent to join our thriving Primary School. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for the right person with the role of a Site Agent being a varied one but vital to the smooth and safe running of the school. You will play a key role in ensuring that our school site remains safe and well maintained for our children, staff and visitors.


We are looking for an individual who has a sound working knowledge of site maintenance and safety, is able to work under their own initiative with minimal day to day direction, is a good communicator and responds well to multi-tasking in a busy school environment.

We are looking for someone who has an approachable, warm and welcoming manner with the children, and has confidence to take on challenges with enthusiasm, rigour, self-motivation and good humour.


Do you have:

  • A desire to help maintain our lovely premises?
  • The ability to work as part of a team with a reactive ‘can do’ attitude, using your own initiative to solve problems quickly and work independently?
  • The ability to undertake minor repairs and have a range of handyman skills, including decorating and equipment repairs?
  • The skills to complete regular maintenance and facilities tasks, including Health and Safety checks in and around school premises and maintain records?
  • A fun, kind and positive nature, alongside the ability to interact with staff and children, and communicate clearly and professionally?
